Glenda Cinquegrana Art Consulting is pleased to present for the 2022 edition of ARTVERONA a selection of artworks of the gallery artists such as Vincenzo Cecchini, Chiara Gambirasio, Salvatore Emblema, Paolo Masi alongside artworks by Dadamaino, and Sonia Delaunay.
The stand’s layout is inspired by the idea of building a dialogue between historical and contemporary art to stress out similarities and differences between artists of different moments of time. Specifically, the parallel can be built between some masters of Analytical Painting such as Vincenzo Cecchini and the young artist Chiara Gambirasio (Bergamo, 1996) within a process of permanent construction of a dialogue between the present and the past.
For the occasion of the fair Chiara Gambirasio has conceived a specific kind of setting embracing works of different periods of time by the title of
As stated by Gambirasio “in a single work, and by extension also in an exhibition space, the void keeps a fundamental value of meaning. Considering the space existing between one work and another brings the viewer into a larger dimension than the simple three-dimensional we are basically used to. If we highlighted this space by means of color, we could perceive a feeling of lightening only by virtue of the emptiness that surrounds us. Remembering the open space, as far as the eye can see, the omnipresence of emptiness. That is why six shades of blue fading into white will appear on the vertical walls: it is as if there was an open sky that is there, and it holds us back for a moment in perceiving instead of seeing, and gradually directs us from the up to the ground to catch the entire exhibition space filled with vibrant human artworks”.
Conceived as a site-specific project specifically created by the artist for the fair, the installation aims to go beyond the dimension of the single works to embrace them within a single and unique vision.
